100 Years Ago

Investigate what life was like 100 years ago. Calculate what year it was then. Then read and talk about the clothing that was worn then, who was President (or Prime Minister, King, or Queen), what inventions weren't around then (computers, TV, VCR's, rollerblades, video games, rockets, microwaves), how many states were in the USA at that time (and what the US flag looked like then - it had a different number of stars), and other startling differences between now and then.
