The Bulldogs kept their season alive with an 11-2 win against the Wolfpack, which earned an 18-1 victory in the opening game of the super regional series. N.C. State (38-21) will advance to the College World Series to face Kentucky (45-14).
The Wolfpack didn't waste any time in the opening game of the super regional series, jumping on the Bulldogs early in a series-opening win. The Bulldogs followed a similar script in the second game, scoring eight runs across the first four innings on their way to a dominant victory.

Georgia 7, N.C. State 6: Well, maybe the good folks in Athens will finally get a close game in the winner-take-all matchup on Monday. The Wolfpack is 1-1 all-time in Game 3 of a super regional series, losing a 17-8 contest at Georgia in 2008. Both teams have plenty of pitching available and the ability to rack up runs in a hurry. Because the Bulldogs are at home, I'll give them the slight edge.
