Freeview Issues Reports Near Rhondda, Wales
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Rhondda and nearby locations:
George Baldwin (@GeorgeBaldwin14) reported fromCardiff, Wales
And has been mentioned before, I and I'm sure many others would never have followed rugby without the Six Nations being free to watch and having it on freeview year after year
Krys Cross! Cha Cha Real Smooth (@KAK_Tweets) reported fromTreorchy, Wales
@flickeringflxme I’ve never seen that one myself but somehow my granddad ended up buying it for himself which was made weirder by the fact he only had freeview so didn’t even have Disney Channel. He loved it though
Dave Maydew MW0DCM (@dave_maydew) reported fromTonyrefail, Wales
@FreeviewAdvice @arqiva More disappointed, but I suppose I've got to accept it, after totally cutting the cord. I do have a tech question though. I'm using the Plex Media Server for Freeview, but the supplied EPG by Gracenote is terrible, is there a XML file of the one you use on the Android app
Ian Cleverly (@IanCleverly06) reported fromTrethomas, Wales
Just an FYI @DMAX_UK but you've just showed Series 3 Ep10 of #Archer, when the Freeview EPG (and your website) has you showing the correct in order Ep 9. It has the same down for the Sat midnight showing (ie Ep 10 is listed in you'll show Ep 9)
Morgan Barber-Rogers #FBPE melt and centrist dad (@MeurigRogers) reported fromCardiff, Wales
@bethanjenkins Project Kangaroo became YouView. It wasn’t shut down because it was a ppv model - it was meant to be like an online Freeview. It was shut down because it was deemed unfair competition for private companies. Who are now all Americans.
Michael Lee Lewis (@MichaelLeeLewi4) reported fromAberdare, Wales
@kieranjameen Kieran cancel it, my sister did with hers and hasn't missed it, you can buy internet freeview boxes now and you can download all the apps onto them, no monthly payments then, just for what you choose to, much cheaper

mark Hughes (@Mark56623345) reported
@a516digital Unfortunately my parents are now unable to receive freeview, they watch sky/Freesat, after the wind blew down the, aerial.
Leon (@ToxophiliteLeon) reported
@Forces_TV @MakingBlakes7 @GerryAndersonTV If only I could get your channel on freeview in our neighbourhood 😥. Your signal hamsters need to spin their wheels a bit harder!
Blake Antcliff (@BlakeAntcliff) reported
@BBCNews Not just villagers, occasionally try my TV and still can't get a signal (have freesat so not that much of an issue) My Dad has BT Youview box that he barely knows how to use and no Freeview channels at all.
Chris Williams (@chrisalfw) reported
@joti261 @Nigel_Farage @GBNEWS STUPID!! GB News is not a satellite channel; it is free to air on Freeview.
Gary (@Gary1609) reported
@gemandmoll @Bbmorg Which is great for you.So maybe you should be paying through subscription allowing those of us who do not watch their services the right to watch other freeview channels without paying for a service we do not want.
mark Hughes (@Mark56623345) reported
@a516digital If com7 is being removed, it can,t be far off round here.Might be wrong, these might be three network! Who are using 900mhz. What I have found out from alot at work and where my parents live is freeview is very weak at the moment,
Gary (@Gary1609) reported
@Bbmorg I support no license thereby giving choice for those who want to watch the other Freeview channels but not BBC the right and freedom to do so.In an age of thousands of channels,& streaming,a license should not forced.I hold the same view regardless of which party is in Govt.
Simon Fraser (@SimonFraser_1) reported
@OwenJones84 Never actually looked at this,Owen, though I am reasonably discerning to avoid nearly everything from non Freeview stations in particular those from Aus. billionaires. I find it difficult enough to pay for BBC license fee each year.
mark Hughes (@Mark56623345) reported
@a516digital It's a shame I cant get freeview where I live, as I would have liked to report how com 7 reception is. But it's been poor for a few weeks now, from what others told me.
